A semi-private country, The River Club is open to the public seven days a week and is recommended for serious golfers. Memberships are still available! The restaurant offers panaramic views of the golf course, and is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Other amenities include a full service pro-shop, lessons, driving range, tennis courts, pool, lounge and banquet facilities. Tee times are available two days in advance and proper golf attired is required. Golf Digest rates The River Club four stars in "Places to Play." Florida Sports Fan Magazine rates The River Club in the top 50 courses in the state. We feel it is a course you must try while visiting the west coast of Florida.

South Gulf Cove
South Gulf Cove is a unique Deed Restricted/Waterfront community built on approximately 62,000 acres, with 15,053 deeded lots of which 4,734 are waterfront. South Gulf Cove has over a hundred miles of roads within its borders. South Gulf Cove has 126 canals totaling approximately 55 miles with both fresh and salt-water fish. The canal system in South Gulf Cove makes up a little more than 1/3 (one third) of all the canals in Charlotte County. The man-made canals have made South Gulf Cove an island connected by four bridges. The Interceptor Lagoon leads to a lock providing access to the Charlotte Harbor, the Gulf of Mexico and the world! South Gulf Cove home sites may be waterfront and some are not (dry-lots). The waterfront home sites may have sea walls or a natural canal frontage. Some home sites are sailboat accessible with no bridges to go under, other home sites have one bridge with a 10-foot clearance to go under. South Gulf Cove increases the number of homes each year. Presently there are approximately 600 existing homes with new homes being built each year. Some home sites cannot be built on at this time, as water and sewer are not available and septic is not allowed. Water and sewer is currently being installed to all lots of South Gulf Cove.

Tara Golf And Country Club
Tara comprises eight sections and includes 2 and 3 story condominiums, patio homes, villas and single family residences. The majority of homes include deeded equity membership in the golf course that allows owners the use of the award winning golf course, exercise facilities, tennis courts and the fabulous restaurant and grill room. The Bradenton/Sarasota metropolitan area offers numerous golf courses but Tara ranks second to none for amenities and the Florida casual lifestyle. The Preserve at Tara is the most recent addition to our community and is similar in design to the original Tara. However, equity membership in the golf course is not an option. This is a semi-private course and owners can join the club at an additional cost. The community has been developed similar to Tara Golf and Country Club with a harmonius mix of single family homes and 2 story condominiums.

The Concession Golf and Country Club
The Concession Golf & Country Club, designed by Jack Nicklaus in association with Tony Jacklin, is a private 18-hole golf course spanning 520 acres. There are no interior roads crossing the course, and just a handful of homes are visible. The course is designed to appear as if it was always part of the landscape, nestling in comfortably amongst the ancient oak and pine. There are only 255 homes in The Concession, with sizes of homesite ranging from 1/2 an acre to one full acre.

Members in The Founders Club will entitle a privileged few to 18 exhilarating holes of signature Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed "core" golf and the amenities of a very private club. Designed by the award-winning architectural firm of Fleischman Garcia of Tampa, the traditional 24,000 sq. foot Golf Hall will include: Dining, Club Bar & Lounge, State-of-the art fitness facility, men's and women's locker rooms, massage therapy treatment room.
